Clint Eastwood film making seems to rely on a very simple premise and straight - forward Story Telling. His best asset today as a director is to make drama movies in many different forms yet very minimalist execution, from a grumpy old man who loves his Grand Torino to one of the best Sniper in american army, all shows a generic set of characters, you have the bully, the hero, the mentor and the bad guy yet most the drama movies with the same kind of treatment to their film doesn't really work out well but Clint Eastwood made simple a special when it comes to drama genre.
